Daniel's wisdom
We were going to be leaving on Tuesday, so on Monday, Drew and Corinne's family came over for one last visit. Daniel and Carter were looking out of Grandma Hilton's dining room window together and I hear Daniel say "You're going to miss me tomorrow Carter, do you know why?" Carter says "Why?" Daniel continues "Because we have to leave. We only came for Easter and Easter is done." Carter then looked back out the window and contimplated life without his cousin. It was all very sweet.
Easter in Virginia

We had a wonderful vacation, if I dare say, the best so far! We packed everything we needed, made all of our flights on time, the kids (besides Ashley) were great on the airplane, we did mostly everthing we wanted to do, and we didn't forget anything when we came back home!
We asked the boys what their favorite part was and it was playing Jeff's Wii, and I didn't even get a picture of it, but if you've seen any boy playing Wii, you have seen it already! Vince's favorite part was renting motorcycles with his brother Drew, and eating the seafood.

We went to the Air & Space Museum, celebrated Jeff's birthday, went to see old neighbors, hung out, played some games, had a fun Easter egg hunt in the Hilton's backyard, and last, but not least, we got to eat some seafood!
Here are some pictures at the Air & Space Museum:

Daniel's new hobby
Happy girls
Kaylee wanted to take a picture of me while I was taking a picture of them so we did, but she is a little slower on the shutter. Ashley's face in the first picture is pretty much what you get 90% of the day, meaning she is extremely pleased with herself--whether she found something she should or shouldn't have!

New carpet
Old basement--

Most of you know that we have had lived with yellow walls, and purple sponge-painted cement floors in most of our basement for two years. Well, we decided to change that and finally painted and got our basement back!
When I told the kids we were going to get carpet in the basement (this includes their play room) he said with a huge smile, "You mean my feet won't be cold anymore??" So, here is the new basement, I think it looks great and I can't wait for everyone to come see it!
New basement--

Vince did all the tile work himself, with a little help from me and the kids. We haven't put the grout in the tile yet, but we are getting to that soon and I think it looks so GREAT!
